Lisa Scottoline graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, in 1976. She then then graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1981. She began her legal career with a clerkship a judge in the Pennsylvania Superior Court. She Dechert, Price & Rhoads in Philadelphia as an associate. In 1986, she left the firm to raise her newborn daughter and began writing legal fiction part-time. She has since written twelve novels. She lives outside Philadelphia. |
